Hoping it is going to be a nice tradition, also this year the Papersera team decided to organize a second edition of the Papersera Prize, an acknowledgment born by the interest of Disney comics enthusiasts, and aimed to celebrate, or even better, thank all the authors (intended as writers and artists) who gave us years of pleasant readings (and many of them are still makin'it). The prize background is a very simple one: the lnog-time participants from the Papersera forum propose some names, and usually the agreement is soon made, since our passion has many common points in appreciating the "usual", classic Disney Masters! Last year's first edition was devoted to Luciano Bottaro (the complete service can be found here) and took place during th 35.th edition of the Reggio Emilia Comic strip Fair on 27th May 2006. This year we'll be at the summer edition of Reggio exhibition, on 26th May, in order to celebrate not one, but two masters from the Disney comic strip world. Who are them? It's a secret! We can just tell you that the two prizes will be given to a writer and to an artist: both of them working since many years and both of them of greatly loved by fans! Last but not least, this year we'll have the pleasure to celebrate also another event: the international meeting of the I.N.D.U.C.K.S. members, meaning there will be many Disney enthusiasts and experts, from all over the world! The Papersera project is deeply connected to the I.N.D.U.C.K.S., so we'll be happy to have one additional excuse to celebrate and drink a toast together!
