= 1. Il ritorno di Eta Beta =

Dopo una lunga attesa (e vedrete che ne e' valsa la pena...) il
mitico 
Eta Beta ha aggiornato le sue pagine, riunendole sotto un nuovo sito, 
con un dominio da lui registrato e la cui pagina iniziale e' 
http://www.eega.net/magic/pocket.html 
Come risulta chiaro sin dalla pagina d'avvio, la grafica e' una delle 
migliori viste sui siti dedicati ai fumetti, e i contenuti sono di 
tutto rispetto, sia per la quantita' che per la qualita': l'indice 
illustrato di Romano Scarpa (http://www.eega.net/last/balaboo.html) 
vale da solo "il prezzo del biglietto", ma c'e' anche una grandissima 
parte di sito dedicata alle copertine Disney di tutto il mondo 
(http://www.eega.net/covers/extra.html) ed altre interessantissime 
cose ancora, che vi lascero' il piacere di scoprire... ah, c'e' anche 
un concorso...in bocca al lupo!

= 2. Il centenario di Barks =
=============================

Il 27 marzo di quest'anno il grande Carl Barks avrebbe compiuto 100 
anni, purtroppo il destino ha voluto che cosi' non fosse, ma tutti i 
suoi fan sparsi per il mondo sicuramente celebreranno, molto 
probabilmente leggendo alcune delle sue storie piu' belle: in 
moltissime nazioni si stanno preparando degli speciali da pubblicare 
proprio in occasione del centenario, in particolare in Italia uscira' 
un volumetto dedicato al Maestro piuttosto corposo (quasi 400 pagine) 
ed una stampa numerata per celebrare degnamente l'avvenimento.

= 3. Zio Paperone e l'Euro =
============================

Zio Paperone alla conqiusta dell'Euro: il ministro italiano delle 
finanze Vincenzo Visco ha presentato nelle scorse settimane un "kit" 
contenente materiale informativo sulla nuova moneta europea destinato 
ai piu' giovani per abituarli a "pensare in Euro". La novita' e' che 
verra' coniata anche una moneta particolare, commemorativa e senza 
corso legale, con l'effige del papero piu' ricco del mondo! E' 
prevista anche l'edizione di speciali numeri di Topolino.

Intanto i personaggi Disney si sono gia' mobilitati per l'adozione 
dell'Euro: http://www.bdp.it/~anmm0001/zio.htm

La moneta sara' disponibile anche in oro e argento per il piacere dei 
collezionisti. 
Purtroppo al momento sul sito dell'Istituto Poligrafico dello Stato 
(http://www.ipzs.it) non ci sono ancora indizi su come reperire la 
moneta.

= 1. Eta Beta is back! =
========================

After a long waiting (and you'll see by yourself that it was worth
the 
waiting) Eta Beta updated his pages, collecting them in a new site, 
with his own domain name; the starting page is

As you can see from the starting page, the graphics are really 
beautiful, one of the best seen on comics-related pages. But its 
contents are very very interesting, for both quantity and quality:
the 
illustrated index of romano Scarpa 
(http://www.eega.net/last/balaboo.html) is worth a visit, but thewre 
is also a cover gallery from Disney covers of all the world 
(http://www.eega.net/covers/extra.html) and many other interesting 
things, but I'll leave to you the pleasure of tdiscovering them...
ah,

= 2. Carl Barks Centenary =
===========================

Next 27th of March the great Carl Barks was giong to celebrate his 
100th birthday, but sadly a cruel fate decided it was time for Unca 
Carl to rest. But all around the world will be celebrations by his 
fans: many of us will spend this day reading some of his best 
adventures: in many countries are in the making special comic books 
reprinting his most famous stories, in Italy there will be a book 
devoted to the Maestro with a lot of interesting stuff (almost 400 
pages) and a color print in limited and numbered edition to celebrate 
this centenary.

= 3. Uncle Scrooge and the Euro coin =
======================================

Uncle Scrooge tries to conquer the "Euro": the Italian finance 
minister Vincenzo Visco introduced in the past days a "kit"
containing 
informative stuff about the new European coin, and addressed to the 
young pupils to train the thinking in Euro (instead of Lire). The 
interesting fact is that will also be issued a particular coin (with 
no legal value, just commemorative) repoducing Scrooge's face! There 
should also be special Topolino issues.

BTW, Disney characters are already on the move to celebrate the Euro

The coin will also be "printed" in gold and silver in order to please 
the real collectors.

Sadly, at this moment, on the Istituto Poligrafico dello Stato (the 
official Italian coin producer) web pages (http://www.ipzs.it) there 
is no clue about how to order this coin.
