Featuring one different character or theme per issue, this title has a confuse numbering. It began with no cover numbering as "Mickey Edição Extra" and soon later as "Mickey Especial" until November 1974, with 10 irregular issues. Then it turned into "Edição Extra" (of Almanaque Disney) -- still with no cover numbering -- until January 1979 when the number 90 (same of Almanaque Disney's) appeared on the cover. Then, apparently all past issues got a number counted retroactivily from that edition, which made the first issue to get the oddly number 52. A special edition called "Mickey apresenta Disney On Parade" released on June 1973 was considered the number 54. This title was suspended for 10 months between numbers 165 and 166.
CANCELED after number 211.

Size (cm): 13.5 x 21 (52-103?), 13.5 x 19 (104?-)

Scans of several old covers were cleaned up digitally. Also, when the quality of available
scans wasn't good enough to be displayed, digital restoration methods (sometimes using two or more scans)
were applied with reasonable success. When the result wasn't perfect though, such scans have
a little "T" (temporary) icon on the bottom right. Those covers may be replaced by better ones
when available (see What's New for updates).

Some legends that may appear in the captions:
rp(p) = reprint (partially) of
rm(p) = remake (partially) of
ri(p) = re-inked (partially) from
id = idea from

Vila Xurupita [Veeh-la Shoo-roo-peeh-ta] is the fictional village in Rio de Janeiro's suburbs where Joe Carioca lives with his friends.
