Che strano.. no topic dedicated to this series which is over twenty years old by now ( if there is one, I simply couldn't find it)
We have (in Arabic) six issues that collect all of the stories in the series in their chronological order ( except the ones that came out later in Topolino ) each issue has more than 300 pages, and that made my experience even better.
A new (and nice) idea, with new characters that I got used to them easily, and a new world with it's own rules. There was a balance between long and short stories, and there was also the nice "Chiedilo a Pipwolf" every now and then to lighten the mood up.
The stories I liked the most in terms of drawing were the ones by Roberto Vian. They were no credits written, but his style was easy to recognize, I Liked the characters appearances with his drawings more than the other artists, and appreciated The way he draws monsters.
I liked Pipwolf ( maybe more than Goofy at that time ) and Manny, and I was eager to see
Sentinel's face, but I was disappointed in the end of the story
Una sera al Topo Bianco because of that:(
Also, I liked the idea of coloring the faces, and in my opinion that gave a special flavor to the series.
After finishing it, I have always imagined myself reading it at a stormy night by the window or in my bed, it seems to me that it would be the perfect atmosphere for it, but unfortunately that never happened:)
In short, a successful series in my opinion (with a satisfying ending) that I admired and appreciated, and that I'd read it again with pleasure.
Cosa ne pensate?
Ps: If there was one thing that bothered me in this series, it was the name changes. There were several characters that the translator didn't stick to a single name for and that was really annoying.
( I have noticed that I'm opening so many topics these days )
