LVD was NEVER important in the comic books. Who told you that?
You said you'd already read all the previous pages of this too-long thread. You should know that my editors are not IN America. I work for Egmont. Europe!
Europa!
Dear Don,
sorry but I didn't say to have already read all the previous pages of this thread.
About LVD he was popular in the european comic books because of the Overseas Studio Program during the sixties and seventies (and then many italian writers wrote stories with him). I thought it was happened in the USA too (in the first sixties above all) but, as you said, it wasn't.
About your editors I know that you' ve been working by many years for Egmont, but I thought (making a mistake) you were still working for Gladstone at the time of carrying out your Duck Family Tree.
About 'what happened to Scrooge's sisters?', I've just read 'Letter from Home' as you suggested me (I couldn't do it at the time of its publication in Italy) and I can say it's one of the best stories I've ever read, with subjects so delicate to show (death and relationship with own deads) that just a poet like you can do in a Disney comic book.
Caro Don,
