Disney doesn't pay me anything, ever. I've never worked for Disney. I work for Egmont, an independent licensed publisher. Egmont pays me one flat fee per page that I turn in. Period. From that point on, the stories are used by any Disney publisher in the world, in any fashion they wish, in comics, album series, digests, hardback book series, expensive collector's editions, etc., etc., and I never get one penny more. I often can't even get copies of the books for myself -- fans usually buy them and send them to me. That's how it is with ALL writers & artists of Disney comics.
In other words, I've never received a penny for all the Italian editions of my work you've ever seen. Because it is not MY property. It's Disney's.
