Even though it's been over a year since you've answered a question on this forum, I'll take this opportunity to revive this dead-ish thread and praise your work.
I would say now your stories as popular as ever, as there is a whole Facebook group called "Ventenni che piangono leggendo la saga di Paperon de' Paperoni" (literally "20-year-olds who cry reading the Lo$", maybe you've heard of it) dedicated to posting panels from your stories and many subscribers really do shed joyful tears reminiscing. I have taken a new interest in your comics myself thanks to the group and I finally finished reading all of them yesterday! I kept the two stories featuring Panchito and Carioca for last, as I wanted to watch the original Three Caballeros before reading them, and once again you've expanded and improved the characters you used. So thank you for all the hours of entertainment (and obviously the emotions!) you've given us.
The last story I read made me think of a question (maybe this will get you out of your dormant state in this forum!): in the "The Magnificent Seven (minus four) Caballeros", Joe Carioca uses the word "M e r d a" twice! I was shocked, as this is literally the same word for "S h i t" in Italian and even though I'm used (and love!) to the occasional adult humor in your stories, this was the first time I saw a flat-out curse word (albeit in a foreign language) in your works. So the question is: have you done this other times?? Are there many other hidden gags for bilingual readers in your works? Also, how did you get away with it?? No one at Egmont spoke Portuguese?

Anche se è passato più di un anno dalla tua ultima risposta sul forum, colgo l'occasione per resuscitare questo thread moribondo e lodare le tue opere. Direi che al momento le tue storie sono più popolari che mai, infatti esiste un gruppo su Facebook chiamato "Ventenni che piangono leggendo la saga di Paperon de' Paperoni" che posta regolarmente tue vignette e molti iscritti versano lacrime ricordandole. Io stesso ho ritrovato l'interesse nei tuoi fumetti grazie al gruppo e proprio ieri ho finito di leggerle tutte! Avevo lasciato per ultime le storie con Panchito e Carioca, perchè volevo vedere I tre caballeros prima, e posso dire che ancora una volta hai migliorato i personaggi usati. Quindi grazie per le ore di divertimento (e ovviamente le emozioni!) che ci hai donato.
L'ultima storia letta ha fatto nascere una domanda (forse questo ti farà uscire dal letargo sul forum!): nella versione inglese de "I magnifici sette (meno quattro) caballeros", Josè Carioca dice "M e r d a" due volte! Sono rimasto sorpreso, visto che è uguale alla parolaccia italiana ed anche se sono abituato (anzi, adoro!) alle battute "per adulti" che infili nelle tue storie, questa era la prima volta che vedevo una parolaccia vera e propria! La mia domanda è: l'hai fatto anche altre volte? Ci sono molte altre gag nascoste per i lettori bilingui? E poi, come hai fatto a fartela passare?? Nessuno parlava portoghese alla Egmont?
