It    means   nothing.

That panel is interesting, though, if it's trying to say that $crooge is grey-haired. Him having any other hair color than white is, as everyone can see, very unusual. But in that "Mickey's Christmas Carol" cartoon he had grey hair as well, so it is interesting to see that some people actually see it differently. But as Don said of course, if it's not Barks, it means nothing to our discussion.

Actually I've posted that panel only as a joke, since Scrooge is introducing a paradoxical situation according to which he is "inheriting" his grey hair from the nephew (being Donald sometime so difficult to bear that he brings t the uncle an accelerated aging)

Non ricordo dove ho preso quellew rune, ma conoscendomi avrò passato ore a fare ricerche per assicurarmi di isare qualcosa con un singificato particolare. Forse ho guardato nelle appendici della mia copia del SIGNORE DEGLI ANELLI.

P.S.: Nonostante quanto avete letto in tutti questi anni, il titolo CORRETTO di quella storia è "Of Ducks and Dimes and Destinies". Dovrebbe essere un riferimento ad un verso nella poesi di Lewis Carroll's "Il tricheco e il Carpentiere" in ATTRAVERSO LO SPECCHIO. Quel verso faceva "Of shoes and ships and sealing wax". Questa storia è stata intitolata correttamente in tutte le rispampe dal cambio di secolo... almeno le ristampe "autorizzate".
